Linda Riddle

Linda Riddle is a self-described people person and the driving force behind a top ranking RE/MAX team representing homes across greater Houston, Texas.  Situated on the city's outskirts, Linda consistently dominates specific neighborhoods in the suburbs of Missouri City, Sugar Land and surrounding Houston areas.  For nearly five years, Linda supported a top-producing RE/MAX agent before venturing out on her own in 2000.  Single mom turned Rookie of the Year, Linda's resilience has carried her to new heights both in her career and personal life.  Emerging from the limelight, a remarried Linda Riddle quickly earned name recognition as a sales associate and attained Hall of Fame status in only five years.  In 2005, Team Riddle was formed by adding her husband, Todd, as an agent.  This year, along with two other colleagues, they will top $31 million in sales.

Believe it or not, my first job was working as a Girl Friday for a real estate chain right out of high school.  I then worked a secretarial job for a property management firm where I acquired my REALTOR license; however, I never did anything with it until years later when I moved to Sugar Land, Texas and eased in to the field as a real estate assistant.  I supported a top-producing RE/MAX agent for almost four years before realizing that I was capable of going solo.  I cast aside self-doubt and took a leap of faith by signing on as an independent agent with RE/MAX.

The first year was a struggle!  I went through a divorce and found myself needing the support of family and friends to make a "go" of my real estate career as a young mother.  Fortunately, I had a gift of gab and a sense of urgency to succeed.  Believing in myself - and my product - I was able to create a sphere of influence by building trust with people.  Clients came to rely on my guidance through every innuendo of the real estate transaction, knowing my intent was to ink them the best deal possible.

As my passion for work turned to performance, my personal life also took a positive turn.  I reconnected with an acquaintance and remarried just as my career was picking up.  My new husband, Todd, and I combined families and bought a new house together in Sienna Plantation, a master-planned development complete with retail, recreation and a country club.  Immediately, I set out to fill a niche in our new community of 20,000 high-end homeowners.  Business was thriving in 2005, when my husband left his position in the oil and gas industry to join me in real estate.  Today, people see us happy together as partners in life and work.  Together, Team Riddle has earned name recognition by selling more properties than anyone in Sienna Plantation and sponsoring area schools, teams and events.

Although the first year was a lot of hard work, each year since has been a real blessing.  And, I've earned it on my own!  Even as my service team expands, I remain accessible.  I will never be too big - or too busy - for giving personal service.
